About two year ago I started to write my own ideas on the origin of life in this website, but I soon canceled it because I thought life is a more personal subject and there is no need to confront with personal beliefs. However, few nights ago (March 11th 2005) there was an one hour film program in Hong Kong TV, in which some scientists were hotly discussing the subject. It not only rekindled my thoughts but also showed that I have something different to write about. Besides, it would make the Regenerating Universe Theory a shade more complete if I include the topic, and as long as I stick to scientific investigation and rationality, I should do it. So here we are! At any rate, I must add that in the following lines all I will do is to offer an analysis, which might provide some grounds for future reference. For many reasons I doubt that the mystery of life could be revealed within a short time. Although I do believe that some of the branch theories contained in this website should not be too difficult to confirm in the foreseeable future.....       

In the various pages here, I have shown that electric charge and magnet moment are the two most fundamental energies in nature. Let's begin from there!... We don't know why Mother Nature makes electricity with positive and negative poles and magnetism with attractive and repulsive properties, but we do know that when in motion these two fundamental energies mutually induce each other at right angles following the Right Hand Rule. These two most basic energies are present in the atoms of all planets, which are spiraled through the galactic center and come out as electromagnetic energies still containing electric and magnetic properties. These energies are indestructible and spread to dominate every tiny space of the universe. Their mutual induction under the Right Hand Rule must be the underlying reason that causes the atoms, planets, solar systems and galaxies to spin, and hence the origin of motions in the universe (this is how electric motor works too). Motion of these two indestructible forces creates a force field symmetry in all materials that automatically adjust a state of dissymmetry into symmetry or disorder into orders in the materials. Motions also cause mixing of materials. Mixing of materials and the force symmetry in their internal structure would start the evolution under external influences. Over millions of years and countless trial and error in mixing and exchange the inorganic materials must find the right composition o become organic structures, and evolution is a continuous process would step up from organic structures to simple botanic cells, then after some more million years the earth will be over populated with unstopped botanical growth of different varieties. Then suddenly the miracle happened. The botanical life has turned into biological life. By that process evolution also translates the ever present polar potentials of electric charge and magnetic moment into male and female natures of both botanical and botanical creatures... And they know exactly what to do with their sexes. Of course, many people may not like the idea that human life comes out the trees. They prefer to think that they have been made by the wave of hand, and voi la, Adam and Eve appears...   

But not so faster. Let's go back a little. Evolution on earth establishes predictable formations of material compositions and their properties, even behaviors under different changing conditions, such as temperatures and pressure, etc... To start with, evolution of earth ought to have begun by slowly cooling down from a hot molten state, then eventually the formation of the earth crust. Some of the gases from the hot molten mass rose to become early gaseous atmosphere. Fortunately, early earth possessed riches of oxygen and hydrogen, and was lucky to be in the right distance from the sun. Of course the earth was lucky, because this happened when our sun was in his youth and hot enough to give the suitable kind of exchanges between matters on earth. In early gaseous atmosphere hydrogen and oxygen combined to form water, which then evaporate and rose up as atmosphere by sun light and come down as rain. Other gases of molten earth were cooled or brought down by rain. Cooling temperature and running water and then turned gas them back into solid or liquid and transported around. The process repeated again and again until the atmosphere was purified as oxygenated air. Rains eventually turned into rivers and oceans. Only long after that could the earth be ready to spawn and sustain any life. 

Life began on earth by mixing chemicals in moving water. Random chance eventually combined inorganic substances and structure them into organic materials. Organic matters with built in force symmetry activated by sun's radiation turned into the most primitive botanical cell, which began the first life form. Since botanical life requires mainly water and carbon to proliferate, which were plenty around  Understandably botanical life can survive far better in primitive and hostile environments, but it must have taken eons to evolve and populate the earth globe with nothing but vegetation and plants. Eventually vast areas of forest would be burnt by lightening or heat combustion and winds and earth dusts would cover them repeatedly and force the forest remains deep down and turn them into oil or coal for us today. Oil rich remains or forest or other organic life were especially abundant in the Middle Eastern areas of the globe. Probably someday it would be found that this was the region where organic life had begun, both botanical and biological. Eons later the, where there are rain and water on earth, there botanical life will proliferate in riches. Anyhow, mixing of organic botanical materials in areas of swarms, plus the miraculous powers of sun's radiation could easily produce the first simple biological cell or living micro organ. The most simple living biological organ today, such a viruses, happens to be just one whole organic material distributed into a shape of a symmetry, capable of splitting into more symmetrical organs under bombardments of nature's forces in defined rhythms under suitable conditions. 

This actually means that the very beginning of biological life was a bundle of organic material driven by natural's forces to distribute and form a symmetrical structure, because everywhere in nature exist forces in symmetry. The motion of nature's forces caused by fixed programs of moving external energies, such as motions of planets, constantly change the structure of symmetry in regular sequence or patterns. At certain interval and under certain conditions strong forces in changing symmetry would force the already formed symmetrical material to split into two equal parts. The two parts then follow nature's prevailing symmetrical force structure to form same but independent symmetries. This process would then repeat and the internal program of change would then become a basic form of life, which then evolve into a form of sensitivity. This sensitivity would then evolve to become primitive consciousness and later some kind of basic knowledge or intelligence. Those new primitive life forms that suit the environment would stabilize and improve by trial and error. Gradually a schedule of life would be built within the program of DNA. The rest is left to millions or billions of evolution. In fact, when a biological scientist observes the splitting and growing of a bundles of biological cells under microscope, that scientist is witnessing the making of life by nature's forces. This is how nature creates life, which is still going on before our eyes. Every now and then new lives are created depending on the properties and program of the organic material and ambient conditions. This is how virus mutate and some mutations can stabilize and evolve further.

The idea that life began first with botanical life has strong bases. Firstly, botanical life needs much less basic conditions to survive. It requires only sunshine, soil, water, some carbon and carbon dioxide to proliferate. Secondly, plant lives consume animal wastes as nutrients and animals consume plant parts and vegetations as nutrients. Such exchanges are completely compatible, which shows without doubt that both lives share the same origin. Biological life cannot survive without organic food when it first sprang into life on earth. But nutrients must be completely compatible and consumed in strictly correct manners, the slightest deviation would kill them off. Therefore, the theory that organic or biological life was transported to earth by meteorite from space has still to explain how they managed to live without absolutely suitable food to sustain them after arrival. Also the theory that biological life began in the ocean then came up on land also has the same problems about foods. For any biological life to live, to survive, to continue, to proliferate and to evolve there must be at least 4 minimum conditions, i.e. the availability in abundance of Sunshine, Oxygen, Unsalted Water and Organic Foods. Primitive extraterrestrial life could hardly have survived on primitive earth without suitable nutrients, not even a couple of days. Also if the first life had begun in the salty ocean, then how did it survive without proper and unsalted organic food? Even if some organic foods from plants did grow in fast moving salt water, such foods would be much more abundant on land. Then there had to be readily available oxygen and sunshine as well. It must have taken eons for fishes to develop grills or other means to exchange oxygen. Therefore it would appear that the first weak and tiny biological life had begun on land, most likely in swarms, then when evolved strong enough, they followed the flow of water down to sea and managed to survive. Eventually some of them developed limbs to return back on land.    

In the early days of earth vegetations and plants must have covered the surface of earth wherever there were sunshine and water. Such early plant life blanketed the earth for multi-billions of years in numerous generations of evolutionary developments. They also excreted enormous amount of oxygen that had helped to form oxygenated atmosphere and oceans. The early earth was built, oxygenated and cleansed by plants and vegetations, and washed by rain and water until the temperatures are mild and environment are tempered. Only long after that its younger cousin, the biological life, could arrive to find foods and other means to live on. Once that happened, intelligent beings are bound to follow in a comparatively short time. All animals on earth possess some form of intelligence, although most of them are not lucky enough to inherit the right equipments to enhance their body development. Evolution of intelligence comes from freedom of movement, which provide the chance for experience and choice, which then develop into sensibility and intelligence. The human and the primates can stand up, leaving two free hands to experiment and learn. The human then speed up evolution by having a tongue to speak and to pass experiences onto their kind. But intelligence was started by the sense to maintain symmetrical balance or sense of normalcy in simple body structure (see above virus body). This simple intelligence is given by nature's own want of equilibrium between electric and magnetic forces in each of living cell.    

Therefore, intelligence comes already with nature's own basic existence. It's only the degrees and the complexity of intelligence that separate the species. Even pure chemicals will crystallize their structures into sands, diamonds or sapphires. Plants and vegetation develop symmetries in leaves. Biological organisms are well organized living structures. All living organs and what consists of body cells and body parts must first be structured in a state of equilibrium before it can live on. Each molecular cell or atom in a human body has its own internal symmetry. There are billions of chained micro-symmetries in the body of every living person, each causing a motion that chain reacts to keep balance in the combined living system.. The human body grows by splitting cells just like a primitive single cell, virus, does. The force symmetry is the basic organization or structure that makes up a large living organ, it is also the energy that organizes each molecular composition. The ability to sense dissymmetry and restructure symmetry evolve to become sensing organs, such as the nerve and brain cells. The sensation of symmetry in the brain, plus freedom of experience builds advanced civilization. So that earth would eventually evolves to become a peaceful, beautiful and intelligent domicile for all living beings. This is the ultimate result and goal that must ensue... 

Electric charge and magnetic moment set the universe in perpetual motion, and the different portions of the universe serve like ocean waves to distribute and exchange materials all over the universe. In time, stabilized structures and physical properties and behaviors for each material emerged as predictable laws of nature, which we call sciences. Behind every laws of nature there is a force in symmetry, and behind every symmetry there are forces of Ying and Yang, or polarity. Each time mutual induction goes from electric change to magnetic moment, then back to electricity, it completes a cycle. Each time a symmetry is destroyed and restructured is also a cycle. The repeat of cycle is a regeneration. Living things are afforded with the freedom of movement to regenerate, stones and minerals are not so lucky. They stay un-evolved. Evolutionary development is only a matter of time! Therefore, all materials, energies, motions, self organization, evolution and regenerative functions are all available on planet earth. Even hot burning molten lava can be slowly transformed into a beautiful world. There is no need for extraterrestrial life forms to start off our biological evolution on earth. Of course, if earth could do that, then other planets could do it too, because the same basic conditions are available through out the entire universe. There is one thing though, which the earth has and other solar planets have not. It's the right distance from our sun, which gives the right amount of radiation and right temperature. However, it is possible that once upon a time planet Mars did probably enjoy the same privileges before the sun cooled down to what it is today, and some billion years from we may move to live on Venus..     .                  

Believe me, if there is a possibility for something to happen, then as long as there is time enough, as well as repeated trial and error by the process of evolution and regeneration, nature would have found a way to do it, and what's more, would have done it! Nature crosses its own barriers repeatedly from inorganic state to organic being. In 1828 Fredrick Woehler also crossed the barrier and make organic urea out of inorganic chemicals, which is just a tiny step from life. We all know that urea is used as botanical fertilizer. Both botanical and biological lives are organic lives. It's rather unthinkable that the two organic life forms have separate origins when our stomach is turning vegetables into muscles, bones, blood and other parts of our own body on daily bases. In fact, many planets also digest insects and all plant lives absorb decomposed animal remains or animal waste and  turn them into leaves and braches 

Many human beings sustain injuries to their brain and are reduced to a vegetative state of life. The human brains are activated by programs or impulses of micro electric signals. People who are drown or suffer accidental stoppage of heart can be revived or stimulated back to life by suitable electric shock or by applying artificial rhythmic pressure to the heart, as long as the micro electric potentials in the still body have not yet entirely dissipated (within a few minutes only, the micro electric potential could disappear by contact with air or conductive materials, and revival of life is no more possible. The earth has negative electric pole. To my mind, this is the only explanation because otherwise there is no reason why resuscitation must be applied within a few short minutes, after that nothing can be done any more. I have been trained and qualified by the Hong Kong Fire Services Dept to apply Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation in cases of emergency). Spring thunders can awaken all sorts of dormant creatures as long as their body electric potentials are sill intact and ready for revival. So, it would appear that at times life and death is separated barely by a tiny thin wall, namely the micro-electric impulses.....

Our earth is a highly evolved planet with extremely rich properties and gifts. In fact, the entire nature is full of dynamic activities and possibilities. If silicon chips can be turned into highly functional computers. Or, if inorganic substance could be changed into organic matter, either by human action or by accidents of nature. If intelligent humans can be developed out of simple living organs. Then, the possibility that random formations of nature that were activated into life cannot be dismissed. So, it is highly possible that sometime in the future experiments could be conducted to see if simple but well structured micro organic compositions could be stimulated into biological life by cosmic radiation, by artificial radiation or even by electric/magnetic inductive field stimulation. I do believe that new life appears on earth all the time, but too tiny or too infrequent to be noticed by us yet. We know viruses do mutate. Perhaps freshly killed viruses may be revived back to life by the same cosmic or artificial means of stimulation The important thing is to understand what causes the continued or discontinued life in the human body. 

The above theory suggests that life is sustained in activity by the mutual continuous induction between micro electric charge and micro magnetic moment in the body. If the heart should untimely stop, and if or when micro electric potential should drop to zero, then it is too late to revive the victim with simple Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. In other words, if mutual induction between micro electricity and magnetism discontinues in the body, then the victim cannot be brought back to life by shocking or pounding the heart into activity. Supposing I am right about this theory, then there could be other possibilities. For instance, by putting the victim in an active electric/magnetic inductive field, by putting the victim's still body on a spinning table, or by putting the victim on a vibrating bed, or by putting the still body on a bed or insulated with combination of all three means, i.e. spinning, vibrating and inductive motion. The idea is insulate the still body from the dissipation of micro electricity in it and to rekindle inductive activity in all body part including the heart. If this is reason, then there are ways to prevent losing body micro-electricity and to rekindle those activities. Perhaps it is possible to test the idea using laboratory mouse or insets.  .      

The earth has given birth to billions of life forms and species every second of time, each and every specie has taken a jump in the past from one form of existence to another at one time or another. It appears that jumping of specie is not all that difficult. With such varieties of new organism, like viruses, appearing on earth all the time, it seems that even creation of life itself is but an insignificant common phenomenon. A healthy male in his prime creates billions of wiggling sperms within days, all of them are lit with a spark of life, only one lucky little wiggling sperm would be bred to maturity by female contribution. Life is easily created and wasted. There is nothing unusual about it. Just think, how many countless billions of lives are created on earth every second.  The question boils down to what are the energies in the parent's body that lit the fire of life and pass on from life to life. There seems to be one answer only "imparting or organizing a living force, i.e. micro-electricity and micro-magnetism into a single organic cell and kick start it, before sending it into a female egg".  Strictly speaking, we are all creators of life, and yet we are also creations and accidents of nature. Only accidents of nature must never be underestimated. 

The intelligent man and intelligence itself are all creations of nature too. The latest human ingenuity is the digital computer technology, yet the animal brain central can process information, including happiness, pain, taste and smell, etc., etc., far more superior than the central processing unit CPU of a computer. The brain can store a life time of memories with far greater efficiency and capacity than the computer memories. The computer is operated by low potential electric currents, while the brain is operated by much more sophisticated micro electric currents. The brain computer needs 4 to 8 hours of shutdown to unwind and delete the micro electric signals or electric/magnetic memories accumulated during the day in the billions of nerve cells in our body, so that it can start afresh in the morning, just as digital computer deletes all unsaved files before it restarts anew. Yet, the manufacture of digital chip memory cells are so few compared with the human brain and nerve sensing cells. Of course we need a minimum of a few hours to sleep or to delete the electricity in those cells. We cal almost use the speed of micro electric current, the micro voltage and the time needed to rest to carry out calculation and find out how complex, or how far the network of our brain and nerve systems extends...    

Dreams are the faint electrical images of re-enactment or selections during the process of deletion, just as a computer would make sure that certain files are to be deleted and others to be saved. The digital computer requires installation of soft-ware programs in its system to work, while the brain's biological computer requires installations of educations in order to perform. The digital computer is shut down when its electric voltage drops to zero, similarly, the lights of a human life would go out when the body micro voltage drops to zero. The more complicated or more advanced a system is, the more time it needs to delete and more work it is to re-start, whilst for the lower the grade becomes or the less complicated a life form is (viruses or other single cell organism), the easier it can be re-activated or revived. The biological computer was invented by nature billions of years ago, long before the cumbersome digital computer came into being.... 

So, you see, if nature can create a primate or a man, then it could easily have the capacity to create a micro organic structure, such as a primitive virus, then allow electricity to stimulate it into life  Why not? If you can throw a simple switch and start the computer to operate, then why can't nature throw an electric spark and start micro organism to life, just like lifeless plant seeds are revived in Spring time, or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation can revive a lifeless human body. Only the simpler micro life is more simple to start... After all, both botanical and biological lives are parts of nature... All what's needed is just a matters of time, and a bit if electricity!... It was reported that a certain scientist made an experiment by chopping up one flat worm into178 pieces, and within days every tiny chopped bits regenerated themselves into 178 wiggling flat worms. So again, even the creation of life seems so easy, the difficulty is that without suitable living conditions the sprout of life would perish within minutes or hours. Indeed, how many tiny new life forms are being created every minute in nature without our notice? Only without the life supporting conditions, even men cannot live to proliferate? 

In short, if earth can give birth to life, then why not other planets in the universe. The question is not the spring of life. Life is cheap for low grade living organisms. For each degree of temperature change on earth countless organisms, such as viruses, would spring to live or die. In the early days of earth, living biological organs must have botanical food to sustain and prosper. Even plant life must absorb sun light and other organic and inorganic nutrients (salt and oxygen are inorganic) to be combined and digested in the body. Therefore, botanical life becomes the converter of inorganic substance into organic structures And organic substance is  the bridge between plant life and animal life. Food is the criterion, which no living biological organs can do without. Therefore, animal life could not have come from outer space. The only condition that permit life to proliferate on earth is that each life must match exactly with the earthly evolutionary steps or programmed information. . 

So, yes, the living conditions for living beings must be perfect to sustain life and its proliferation. Such conditions can exist only in a narrow bandwidth. For instance, our sun loses energy and cools down too (The sun loses 400 million tons of mass per day due to radiation), but in its more youthful days, it had provided right temperatures and right atmospheric conditions for living structures to prosper in the more distant planet Mars... Later, as the sun cooled, foods became rare, first the large Martian animals disappeared. Its carbon dioxide production decreased. As the temperatures and foods continued to drop, the plants and vegetations disappeared. This would cause the production of oxygen to stop. Soon Mars lost its protective atmospheric shield. You see, a living planet must have other lives to sustain its life too. If no one lives in a house, the house will soon dry up and crumble. What makes life prosper on planets is none other than the suitability of natural conditions, or simply said, the balance of ecology.  So Mars was dead!  But then as the sun cools down further, earth became lucky and struck it rich, because earth is nearer to the sun and now with the milder and softer sunshine, earth has inherited the narrow band of suitable living condition that once supported prosperities of Mars... Naturally, abundance of life on earth brings competitions and competition expedites evolution and produces humans. Now humans are cutting down all the trees and covering the surface of earth with concretes, so that no plant lives can grow... Somewhere there is a border line of that narrow bandwidth, beyond which there can be no return... So again, it's all a matter of time!... But we don't want to make it happen before we know how to revive the ticking heart of Mars, so that we can live both on earth and in Mars..      

What is fundamental to nature is also fundamental to life. What gives motion and life to the universe is also the origin of motion and life to the constituents of universe, i.e. planets. Hence, the forces of electrical charge and magnetic moment, which give rise to regenerative steps of evolution, must be the fundamental energy of life as well. Thus, motion and life are all intrinsic properties of nature, powered by the same fundamental energies. These fundamental forces come with uncompromising poles, with right angles to each other and with alternating phases of mutually inductive cycles. These polar phenomena of nature hence manifest into sexes in all beings. The chained alternating phases of mutual induction between nature's forces then give rise to chained generations of offspring. The uncompromising polar forces in angular motion produce dynamic field symmetries. Dynamic symmetry then gives roots to self adjustment and eventually evolution and intelligence. 

All motions and lives in nature are powered by energies. Interaction of energies is the phenomenon of life. However, whilst there is little need to ask whether earth has the special monopoly of life in the universe, there is need to investigate  what exactly are the energies in the parent's body that spark the life and motion in those countless wiggling sperms? Or better still, what exactly are the energies carried by the tiny wiggling bodies that constitute the torch of life passing from generation to generation? Another question that may also be of interests is that since evidence shows marine lives had advanced to become land creatures, and primates evolved into humans, what would the human become in some distant millenniums from now?
