10) Brief historic backgrounds and problems confronting Dalai Lama of Tibet:-

Tibet is the highest plateau of the world, often referred to as the "Roof of the World". The average altitude of Tibet is over four thousand meters, where air is relatively thin and contains less oxygen, which makes life rather hard and cold for both human and animals. In time some of the people would migrate down to nearby lower plains. So the net remaining population within Tibet's is very tiny, just barely over 2 millions today, spreading over that vast domain. Besides, due to the inaccessibility of the Himalayan mountain ranges, much of Tibet is cut off from normal traffics. As a result, Tibet has little or no military strategic values, and with such an insignificant population, there was little traditional political and economic importance as well. Although Tibet had been officially annexed into China since the 12th century (read story later), but due to its special geographic nature and its corresponding own way of life, for many centuries Tibet had been largely left alone to her life and traditions of harmless, peaceful and devoted religious worship. However, Tibet being part of the land mass of main continental China, and a Chinese province, China would have to maintain her timely concern as well as legitimate control of this remote province. For instance, it's been for centuries that before the installation of each Tibetan God-King, namely the Dalai Lama, written permission must be first obtained from the Chinese government, which would often send representatives to officiate and finance the occasion. This was what happened on 23rd Feb 1940 when the present 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, was officially inaugurated as political and spiritual leader of Tibet. Unfortunately in 1959 this Dalai Lama left Tibet in self-exile.

The recorded historical relationship between China and Tibet began in earnest during the 7th century when King Songtsen Gampo unified rural fractions and established the very first consolidated kingdom of Tibet. This first Tibetan rulers already realized the importance of peace and alignment with the powerful neighbouring Chinese empire and sent envoy to China requesting friendship through matrimonial relationship, which would of course enhance his power and stability of Tibet. And after some initial misunderstandings Chinese emperor of Tang Dynasty agreed. Actually, it was just like fairy tales, two Chinese princesses had been sent to marry the early Tibetan kings. One called Princess Wen Cheng married King Songtsen Gampo himself in 641 AD, and some years later, 710 AD, another princess, named Princess Zhin Cheng married Songtsen Gampo's great grand son. These Chinese princesses brought with them invaluable gifts to Tibet carried by hundreds of horses and donkeys. Those presents and wedding dowries included books and equipments, such as Chinese printing techniques, literature and philosophy, silk making and weaving machines, herbal medical science, arts, music and musical instruments, etc., etc.. Many of which are well preserved by the high altitude and still kept in the Potala Palace of Lhassa today. So from the very start of the first unified Tibetan kingdom, the two neighbouring ruling entities were closely related and in relative peace. This was followed by many centuries with nothing much happening between them.

Then in early13th century Mongolian leader Genghis Khan suddenly rose in power. Within a short period his army ran over most of Asia, Russia, the Middle East and parts of Europe. His son Kublai Khan consolidated and succeeded the power as the Great Khan, and took over the Chinese Sung Dynasty to become the Emperor of China under the Chinese name Yuan Dynasty. The Mongolians withdrew all forces from the West, when the Great Khan decided to settle down and enjoy his power by making China his home and seat of power because at that time China was very rich and culturally advanced, and  had already a highly developed democratic civil system. In doing so, Mongolia automatically absorbed itself into the culture and administration of its more advanced neighbour, and actually became part of China... In 1t was in 1240 AD, Mongolian forces broke into Tibet, and in 1247 AD arrangements between Mongolian rulers and Tibetan leaders were concluded to officially annex Tibet into the Mongolian Chinese Empire. However, despite Genghis Khan's sudden rise of power, Mongolians were after all of such a small tribe that their rule of China could only last a few decades. Soon, in 1368 AD, common people in China rose to take over the Empire and called the new rule Ming Dynasty. Ming rulers did also sent forces into Tibet to reassure control. Thus, Ming Chinese rulers took over all of the Great Mongolian Khan's power and remaining dominions, which included Mongolia itself, Tibet and more. During the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644 AD) and the subsequent Ching Dynasty (1644 - 1911 AD) successive Chinese imperial governments continued to exercise jurisdiction over both Tibet and Mongolia.

So for over 7 and half centuries, since 1247 AD Tibet had already become part of China. Huge amounts of such historic accounts and exchanges had been recorded, especially over the more recent times. For instance, in 1720 AD Ching Dynasty rulers sent army into Tibet to remove the remaining Mongolian influence and reorganize Tibetan government. In 1788 Ching government sent troops into Tibet to defend her and drive out invaders from Nepal. In 1910 again Ching government sent troops into Tibet with the intention to protect her from other foreign ambition, which was coming strongly from the nearby European colonial powers. Unfortunately, Ching government fell in the following year due to internal revolution, which established the first Republic of China ( in 1921 that government granted independence to Outer Mongolia). Then, in Oct 1949 the present People's Republic of China was established in Beijing, and in Oct 1950, again the new Chinese government sent troops into Tibet. This time, in May 1951, as a result of arrangement with Tibetan leaders, Tibet was established as a provincial Autonomy with agreed 17 terms, including the provision that the Beijing central government should finally establish a stationary army base inside Tibet for the first time, and on 16th Oct 1951 such army base was established in Lhassa... All this means that although Tibetan life has been respected and totally undisturbed, Tibet has been in the family of Chinese people for more than 7 and half centuries, and over multiple generation all successive Chinese government had made certain and reassured its jurisdiction over this remote region. Thus, historically Chinese peoples have always been proud to think of Tibetans as one of their 5 main ethnic family members, although China is also made of 51 other smaller tribal ethnicities as well....

So each time after reassurance of rule by successive Chinese Dynasties, Tibet was left completely alone to continue her ancient Buddhist way of life. The reasons are rather obvious. Firstly, Tibetan Plateau is the "Roof" of the world with average elevation of 4000 meters where the air is very cold and thin with oxygen. Probably it is more suited for peace and restfulness, such as contemplation and religious meditation, rather then for strong physical exertions. Secondly, the Tibetan Buddhism is in fact the most soul searching and non-aggressive religion in the world. Thirdly, Tibet has a tiny population even now, although this number had been higher before. Fourthly, Tibet has always been part of the historically inaccessible height of the Himalayan Ranges, which blocks off traffics and communications. These conditions already make Tibet a unique and solitary region of the world. Fifthly, with the Himalayan mountains behind her, Tibet becomes geographically part of the main Chinese land-mass. Yet, this non-threatening small religious population was hard to reach and commute for many centuries. Still, things had changed somewhat in modern times, and being part of the geography of Chinese land, China has to include it into her domain for the peace and security of the entire national domain, which she had already successfully done for over many centuries.

There has been one more important point though, or rather an important dilemma, which is as follows. Since Tibet is one of China's provincial States and family member, the central Chinese government would have to think of her well-being and modern developments, even though Tibetan Province is left to its own autonomy, because everywhere in the world modern life is demanding rapid and timely changes, especially for the working majority of  Tibet and not the 5% previously privileged class. There are so many needs for a modern society, e.g. modern education, modern understanding, communication, transport, science, technology, modern medical care, hygiene, civil service, modern social and national relationship, etc., etc.. in short all aspects of necessities and demands of a modern life, especially economical developments. So now, after all those centuries of remote control, modern China at last would have to be present and on spot. Thus, subsequent to the establishment of present Chinese People's Republic in 1949, Chinese forces under the new government re-entered Tibet in 1950. What really happened was as follows. Mainland China, having passed through about one and half century of weakening process due to the externally introduced opium drug, which became a nation wide endemic, then opium wars, the Tai-Ping religious rebellions, colonial wars, Japanese invasion, and she was barely saved by the changes of global balance as a result of the Second World War. China was all ready for a total reformation and regeneration from head to toe.

Such great regeneration was carried out through out China under the name "Cultural Revolution" in the late 1950s, which in fact demanded enormous hardship, endurance and determination from all Chinese who participated in it, especially the Communist party members who led the movement by strictly adhering to the "One Child Policy". It would be understandable that the motion initially included Tibet. However, in the 1950s Tibet being the previously unreachable and untouched remote Roof of the world was still totally engulfed in the old feudal system with powers centered on the God-Kings, believed to be reincarnations of past rulers. There was a 5% ruling class, which not only controlled but also practically owned everything in Tibet. Therefore the central government's efforts were met with armed rejection in 1959. As China had more pressuring tasks at hand, she settled for the situation by giving Tibet her autonomy while maintaining the presence of stationed forces. In doing so China had in fact decided to hold up her Tibetan efforts, but she went ahead with her own tremendous reformation and regeneration behind closed doors... It was quite a sight! Just imagine a nation, a humanity of some one billion mouths and hearts or more, clad in blue and a cap, jumping onto forests of bicycles, pedaling away and getting down to work, almost silently...

Today China, knowing that the purpose of her closed door regeneration has been successfully achieved, those precarious days of invasions and wars are over. In fact China has even revived and risen to become an economic power now. In 1990 Chinese leaders realized that it was time to open up the nation and resume normal life with the bigger world family (Please also read this writer's two long letters to the former senior Chinese leader Deng Xiao Ping in 1989 and 1990, enclosed in this "Related Topics" of the Website). In the meantime, under the reduced and limited influence from China, Tibet did evolved from that hard and age old feudal system into a more open, informed and well-to-do society. As the dark and dangerous days for both China and Tibet are finally over, in the recent years China and her tax payers have been spending multiple billions to repair, recondition and rebuild dozens of historic temples and buildings in Tibet. In 2007 China had finished and put into service a huge and expensive railway system from normal altitude of inner China up to this Roof of the world in the hope to bring international tourism to Tibet and make it too into a prosperous region. Unfortunately efforts of modernization and hopes of helping Tibetan people to develop an up-to-date society and economy do conflict strongly with the interests of the traditional rulers, i.e., the God-Kings, such as the Dalai Lama and his previously privileged class, who would otherwise enjoy those indisputable godly and kingly privileges, although all other minor God-Kings of Tibet, e.g., the Penchant Lama, etc., are in agreement with their modernized authority over the Tibetan people... Now let's take a brief look into other important historical background and developments in different stages:-

In year 1578 AD, then under the rule of Chinese Ming Dynasty, but Mongolian influence in Tibet was still formidable. Mongolian Prince Altan Khan invited Tibetan political-religious leader Sodnam Gyatso to visit Mongolia with the view to reinforce his own political influence using the highly established and worshipped Tibetan Buddhism. During the visit the princely host honoured his Tibetan guest with the name "Dalai Lama Vajradhara" in Mongolian language, meaning "Ocean-like Holy Priest, Holder of the Thunderbolt". The name got stuck, and started the tradition and title of Dalai Lama ever since. Then some years later, in 1592 AD, it was decided between Tibetan and Mongolian leaders that one of Prince Altan's grand sons should be made the 4th reincarnation of  Dalai Lama. This was done in honour retrospectively for three other great monks who had already passed away. From that date on, each time after a Dalai Lama had passed away, a search would be conducted across the Tibetan land to find a gifted or inspired boy (amongst a few) at tender age and confer on him the sacred title as the new incarnation of the original Dalai Lama. The present Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso was found and made the 14th re-incarnation of the original Dalai Lama at the tender age of 4 years old. By tradition and belief each Dalai Lama enjoys a God-King like status of authority. This tradition also later spread to create a second super Lama, named Penchant Lama and with successive re-incarnations as well. This Penchant Lama also enjoys the equal and similar status but with a power dominion more to do with the hinter land of Tibet, while Dalai Lama controls the frontal Capital city, Lhassa, and the rest of Tibet.

Although Tibet has been in the Chinese family for over 3 times the entire existence of United States, it has been relatively left alone on its own during the last one and half centuries. Let me emphasize more those reasons. Firstly, Tibet was the remote and untouched roof of the world, she was not ready for people to visit everyday. Secondly, comparing with mainland China, Tibet  has only a tiny and insignificant population, which was enjoying her own peace and peaceful religious life, presenting no harm or threat to anybody. Thirdly, since the 7th century Chinese people have been ardent believers of Buddhism and thought of Tibetan Buddhism with mysterious but deep spiritual respects (Buddhism possesses extremely deep mental spiritual roots, which draw sustenance from both nature and human nature). Fourthly, for about one and a half centuries China had been busy and busily weakened by infestation of opium drugs, opium wars, internal unrests, colonial invasions, Japanese invasions, 1st and 2nd World Wars, and finally her own two enormous modern time revolutions. In retrospection now, China was wise to use and align with Russia at the time during the tumulus times, because her northern neighbour was far too near and more advanced in modern military technology, it would have been a disastrous mistake to create a conflict with it while China needed chance to recuperate from her illnesses, and the Western powers were not about to be too keen or willing to help cleaning up the mess or healing the health of that reputed "Sick man of Asia", namely that opium drugged, war torn China, and restore her historic strength.

In fact, at the time the West was more bent on converting Chinese humanism and rationality taught by Confucian philosophy into the super-nature of religious belief. Especially even after the bloodshed and destruction of that Tai-Ping Rebellion, called "Heavenly Father, Heavenly Son and Heavenly Peace Kingdom", which almost finished off the Ching Dynasty. However, in aligning with Russia and using Communism as a political base, the Chinese Communist government shared the blunt of attack through the years of "Cold War", which had since then established the legitimacy for Freedom for Speech, or Freedom of Press in the none Communist world ever since. The truth is, Communism never existed in practice anywhere in the world, what did exist in China was a special specie of Chinese hardship and endurance, which should be really a kind of Chinese style Socialism. But the attacks were overwhelming and too dangerous for the un-enlightened audiences, so MaoTse-Tung and his colleagues had to shut all doors and windows through the entire Cold War era to carry out "Cultural Revolution" in complete secrecy. However, the attacks were so persistent and hurtful, and under the righteousness of :Freedom of Press, sometimes quite at random...

[Note:- Here is another thing! It would be too much to expect that China could have opted for democracy soon after the Second World War, because the only true democracy ever existed in human history was China's own historic 1300 years practice of democracy through academic exams, giving nation wide equal opportunities to people of qualified intellectual standards and administrative abilities as well as declared written political aspirations. But that was destroyed in 1911 when Western style democracy was introduced to China. Then soon, as in so many such bi-party system, Chiang Kai Sek tried to annihilate his opposition party and plunged China into decades of bloody civil war. In the end, Chiang's opponents won! So how can one expect his opponent to choose Western style democracy after all that? Besides, how could China ever have hoped to regroup, reform and regenerate, if there had been different political parties to tear the nation and people apart? (Nature cycles from dispersion to unity, and then from unity to dispersion again. There is nothing permanent or eternal in the evolving and Regenerating Universe!)... The way I see it, the only hope for the future of Democracy is a fundamentally changed, re-orientated and reformed brand new system with provisions to illuminate the bi-polar effect, because bi-party system by nature must either collide or collude. Collision could  mean decades of bloodshed and collusion ends in slow debilitation and social demoralization (sometimes called Freedom). Besides, once two powerful parties begin to collude, or take turns to collude every couple of years, or get in cahoots with each other, especially in war intoxicated foreign policies, while kicking up dusts of patriotism to blur visions, then their people have no choice at all, i.e., they would have to vote for either catastrophe or calamity! As neither wars nor revenges can be easily stopped, nor can many generations of memories, trauma, nightmares and hatred... What's more, no one knows what other greater, wider or unpredictable consequences wars may yet evolve or lead to...]

It goes without saying, today's revived capacity of China owes its due to the years of unannounced and closed-door regeneration, as well as the determination and hardship endured by all the Chinese people. That could have been what had been hoped for the people of Tibet as well! Unfortunately, during the Cold War years, everything about Communism or Socialism was portrayed not very pretty indeed, which had given Tibetan people wrong impressions. Then there were also foreign ambitions on Tibet. Although the Chinese interior was in fact totally too busy in executing her own Cultural Revolution with expectations of impossible conditions and problems to bear through, China would have gladly left the Tibetans to their own peaceful autonomy, but there were reports with all sorts of Cold War news and damaging descriptions of the sacrifices and hardship that Chinese people were investing for their future, which were becoming impossible to explain. In fact, the attack were so consistent that a famous term, called "China Bashing" was invented for it... However, in recent times, due to open tourism and numbers of major success in political exchanges and ecological events, the proper picture of China's human rights are emerging on daily bases, revealing a true nature and relationship between the Chinese Government and its people. China bashers all of a sudden start to look ridiculous and smell malicious. So some of so called "Human Rights Records" are being sneakily removed from most secured electronic storage...

Also although in 1950 the Chinese Government did send troops into the Tibetan Province (which could hardly be reported as "Invasion" because one does not "invade" ones own country or ones integral Province, since Tibet has already been under Chinese jurisdiction for many centuries), and promised Tibetans autonomy, except with the demand that Chinese troops should remain in place. But overwhelming Press Medias or China Bashing soon drummed up words into emotions and emotions into actions. In the end, in 1959 there were unprovoked arm uprising against the Tibetan Chinese authorities, or the so called "Chinese Invaders". Now in retrospection, understandably the Chinese government would want to keep the historic domain and the whole of China intact, and of course the unrest was then brought to normalcy again. One would think, any decent government would wish its undeveloped province to modernize and follow the rest of her people into modern administration, which was and still is what the future calls for, and what any Chinese would hope for his fellow Tibetan countrymen. Because surely changes with time are inevitable!

In fact, any sensible Tibetan would also realize that the old Tibet is heading for the drastic challenge of modern sciences, modern demands of life and modern governmental organization. And above all, he or she would also know that with such a tiny population, Tibet needs protection and massive support by being part of the established, historic, protective and caring ethnic family brotherhood of China, which even the very first Tibetan king had already come to realize. Even more important, he or she should realize that times are changing fast and violently. In the previous Piscean Age (Age of Belief), everything one does, one thinks, be it eating, walking or sleeping, there was always God or Gods behind everything. Now in the Aquarian Age (Age of Logic and Science), everything ones does or thinks, it's always rational thinking and modern science. If one wants to compete and live in modern age, one needs to understand and obey logics and rationality, and not to relapse back into blind obedience of super-nature. Super-nature did once help to lead and confine the previously raw and primitive human mind into some orders, but now, the educated modern brain needs realism, reality and facts (not to mention money to buy things)... Unfortunately, all these timely changes, obligations and governmental measures conflict with the unrestrained will and desire of those human God-Kings. Then there are also those external politicians and Medias who are experts in luring or instigating trouble and separatism for one part of a nation against another, or one political fraction against another. Meanwhile, the Dalai Lama has willingly become a valuable tool or media for such purposes in modern politics. He is being treated and received everywhere as though his friends really believe in the reincarnation of spiritual Lama. So "His Holiness" is being honoured, financed and sanctified to be the modern day human half-God. And he appears to be really savoring the pleasure of being so thoroughly spoiled and well attended to. Imagine a super-natural, reincarnated God-King and run-away Lama from a remote Chinese province with a tiny population gets to confer and to be spoiled by so many leading global dignities or Presidents of the world! (which would finally lead to the disruption of the Olympic torch relay).

On March the 14th 2008, a preparation that had taken about half a year was put into spontaneous action. In Tibet and nearby places suddenly riots broke out everywhere! Many houses in Lhassa and some 900 shops were burnt, destroyed, looted or damaged. Many people were killed, injured, and a family of 5 including children were burnt alive. The Bank of China and governmental buildings were attacked and damaged. Dalai Lama timely and immediately declared that because China was executing "Cultural Genocide" in Tibet. A couple of days later, he got to know of the extent of violence and damages that had occurred. He then declared that if the violence had got worse he would resign. That was his confession that he was the leader. Of course he was the leader, who else? For safety of foreign visitors the Chinese authorities stopped the inflow of tourists and announced that unless those took part in the violence report to the government by themselves, they would be strongly punished. Within days hundreds of them actually went to report and confess their own part in the violence. A few days later China reopened Tibet for journalists to investigate and report, but there were no reports, nor pictures, just silence. Now "Freedom of Press" becomes "Freedom of Silence". In the meantime, other uninvited Press and Medias continued to blast away in full force claiming that China had cracked down Tibetans "demonstration" against China for Human Rights in Tibet, or China's human right records. What human rights? Perhaps a rightful government should not hope to modernize her province and bring to it prosperity?

[Note:- People who make vague accusations without supporting facts or references is making random and baseless "Bashing" too! What "Human Right" offense? 1.3 billion Chinese people are now rejoicing their regenerated life, and the entire world is witnessing the emergence of a willing, improved, advancing, none offending, peace making and sporting new China. China's helpful, friendly, peaceful enthusiastic but unbiased political stand is becoming the only new and tiny glimpse of growing hope in positive international relationship today. Going to street to demonstrate and condemn China for "not helping Darfur (Sudan) more than she has done" is the strangest and most ridiculous accusation invented in the history of China Bashing...

People of the world need to know that this is the same people, the same fellow humans beings, 4 times the size of United Nation of America, who had never invaded other nations, only contributed enormous intellectual, humane and cultural advancements to human civilization, but suffered from opium trade backed by political pressures and military forces, also invasions with aerial bombardments and chemical warfare, amongst other political, economic and military raids and destructions, even religious atrocities, for almost 200 years. It is also the same present political leadership that has led this great suffering family of humans through impossible conditions to recover and rebuild their homeland in a few short decades. Remember, this is one fifth of all human lives on planet earth! If  the common Chinese people didn't cohere, agree, unite and support their leadership to endure, reform and work hard, how could it be possible for any human society of this magnitude to achieve such a feat, such a rapid and massive recovery? This has been the true state of Human Rights records in China, the rights for humans to rise and rebuild without being attacked and condemned. This is true reality, which, no doubt, will be witnessed, recorded and judged, as well as remembered by Chinese people and fellow humans around the world for centuries to come.

Now, while I am on the subject of "Bashing", let me give another example:- These few days, (first week of May 2008) Myanmar, or the former Burma, is in the news, due to a devastating typhoon, but for years she has been bashed by Medias with all sorts sinister descriptions and pressures to turn her into a democracy. The whole world knows about the lady, named Aun San Su Chi, being a symbol of democracy in the only election (totally lack of experienced and preparation), and about her house arrest, but no audiences have ever been told that she was married to an Englishman and Burma was a British colony until 1947, with memories still fresh. Let me add that this is a small but historically rich country made of pious, devoted, kindly, totally non-aggressive and rather defenseless religious folks, believing and practicing Buddhism. These people are still unspoiled by 21st century theatrics and games of modern politics. Some might call them "easy meat" for predictors. It would appear that years of international pressure and relentless bashings on this small nation of pious Buddhists obviously had a huge bearing on their decision to isolate themselves from the world and guard it with only a single military rule. Unfortunately now Myanmar has also been cruelly bashed by typhoon. Yet, the foreign forces patrolling nearby, which have already presented to her some threat and pressure, suddenly want to invite themselves into the country with all the big love and charitable intents. What do you think they should react? Scare to death, or be trusting enough to let uniformed forces marching in? All that goes on even while unfriendly news continue their usual bashing! And the so called "international pressure" presses on!... I may also add that if Myanmar or Burma had not existed alongside that philosophically humane China and that religiously humane India, this small but benign and agriculturally rich nation would have disappeared from earth many centuries ago. But that's also why common Myanmar or Burmese folks can afford to become and remain pious as well as benign. It would also appear that most of the world simply do not understand that such a people may not want to live with those restless colliding or colluding struggles of political parties under Democracy...  ..

The following is some of the newest development in the 21st century politics. Daily verbal bashing on unreceptive, un-conformed or non-aligned nations using the self-righteous Freedom of Speech, and belittling or condemning defenseless or poorer nations at their expense, even at times ones friends, can easily make ones own people feeling really cool, proud, contented, un-complained and feeling superior, thinking that one is on top of world. Such none-stop bashing on others not only divert people's attentions and feelings from their domestic troubles and social failures, they make them believe that they and their leaders are the world's superior beings or moral leaders. Pretty soon some of ones pumped up folks would come to believe and support ones self proclaimed  "leader of the world", or self appointed benefactor or god of our time. And before too long, ones people would really think that making wars, air bombardments, blood baths, creating tribal civil wars and millions of refugees are all some of the good deeds, carried out with good intents to help and benefit the victims (imagine how many millions of war displaced refugees and off-springs or relatives of all those killed, all are waiting with all their hearts for the chance to say "Thank You", and when they do, they probably won't recognize who had benefited them and who had helped, but they have all the time on earth to wait!). Thus, soon that urge to kill, to force submission and to proclaim victory become the ultimate achievement of Human Rights. And the rest of the world would be led to think that it's merely a due process and produce of Democracy. Thanks to Freedom of Speech (which may or may not include priestly sermons) and the convincing power of Medias that make the spread and implantation of such ideas possible... Such implantation of ideas has been going on successfully for years on daily and hourly basis, with domestic audience having no facility to verify reality personally, and foreign victims having no facility to explain or disprove anything. The notoriety of untruth and the magnitude of unfriendly attacks are demonstrated by the reports of recent incidents in Tibet. That's why it is so important now to expose the unnecessary damages and bad feelings all around.

This goes on one hand, then on the other hand, by calling awful names, scaring ones people with terrifying dangers or attack,  plus non-stop drumming of patriotism or nationalism (some nations would indulge one and half years, namely the election year, in every four years) to whip up patriotic sentiments, to glorify wars, or weapon technologies, or war heroes, even war prisoners. One can even whip up strong supports to make more arms and become a peace time war maker. Meanwhile because of the unstoppable piling up of excess arms one would have to hope for troubles everywhere, for instance, election troubles, separatists troubles, regional independence troubles, tribal bloodsheds, terrorists, insurgencies, even domestic killings, crime killings and student shootings, etc., etc.... the more the better! (for those arms makers, and their patron politicians). So that one can make and sell more arms. Thus, excess arms continue to pile up. So sooner or later, time must come that one would have to end up making or inventing wars oneself. And since nowadays word bombs, real bombs and nuclear bombs are all mixed, it's time to whip up more nuclear bomb scares, or make some threats to start nuclear mad rush. Now, because nuclear weapons nowadays have become the only effective deterrent defense for big and small nations alike, so if big nations can have them, why not smaller nations too? Who could or would bother to stop it? Or say anything? The Vatican? The United Nations? And how?

There is no war that cannot or should not end. The longer war lasts, the deeper war gets, the more difficult to get out, and the more regrets war brings to all round. Also, the more war seeks win and glory, especially nameless war, the farther and deeper war sinks into inhumane measures, the more destructive war becomes and the more regrets are registered in memory and history. In nature, animals kill purely for hunger and self survival, only humans kill for the pleasure of winning. And yet, a moment of winning and glory can bring years of indignity and retaliations, even generations of curse, hatred and revenge. It's the very first duty for any leader to avoid war, not to prolong bloodshed, regardless of any reasons personal or national. War losses and war sufferings invariably breed extreme antagonists. Without Germany's defeat in the First World War, there would have been no extreme fanatics, such as Adolf Hitler. Extreme war sufferers, war torn refugees, war prisoners, or failed and surrendered soldiers, can develop a life time of nightmares and haunting memories, or incurable psycho problems about war, and so to insist for or against war, even to lose rationality and normal senses. Because no normal human leaders, nor normal human beings, would openly advocate for more war, especially when options are still open to withdraw or to safely terminate war, and especially when so much damages are done for so long...

All wars are wicked and despicable, especially in a time of general peace, and in the nuclear weapons age. No nation should rush blindly into coalition of war without careful prior consideration and thorough examination of information and cause. When nations ganging up in numbers for war any time during the nuclear age, it would mean that those nations are setting the stage for the next half step, which is the ganged up nuclear war, or just Nuclear World War... Because wars usually start small and end up big! It's also pretty obvious that those who start wars do not want to end it until total submission, or total victory, is achieved, and yet in this 21st century, unlike earlier centuries, humans are not educated to submit totally. So wars can only go from small to big!..

[Note:- Due process of Democracy is one that begins at the party level, because it is the Party elections carried out nation wide that produce the final candidate for General election. Meanwhile, due to the enormous funds and human energy needed for the electoral organization and expenditures, no independent candidate can stand a glimpse of hope to compete. And the General election presents invariably only two choices to be chosen as Head of the nation, but being only two choices in a nation of hundreds of millions, the process of General election therefore cannot be regarded as a normal and true democratic process. In other words, two choices is next to no choice! As a result, real democratic process begins at the party level or at the provincial election level, which is at least theoretically unrestrictive to the numbers of entry or candidates. Since the Primary election already determines the final candidates, it has more or less determined the outcome of election. Because the results of General election depends hugely on the performance of previously elected leader and the policy of his party, which already underlines the fate of the prevailing election, the General election therefore serves largely as confirmation of Primary election. Hence, the Primary election is of primary importance because it is the one and only real base of democratic choice in the process of election (although in times of war a nation may often be hijacked to take the same wartime leader for continuation of war, unless citizens are gifted with an extraordinary degree of rationality and judgment, which of course is rare)...

Now, records show that depending on the numbers of candidates sharing the primary election votes, the final succeeding party candidate would receive votes of between say 3% to a maximum of 6% from the entire national population, for instance, 18 million votes for one candidate out of a nation of 300 millions people are reported in recent election to be record breaking in all electoral history of that important nation. This maximum percentage would be drastically reduced if there are large numbers of candidates. Thus, these few percentage of votes become the real base or root of support that would eventually produce the Head of Nation, or a  President. Because only at this Primary level the process is democratic, it follows that it is these few small percentages, i.e. no more than 6% of national population, that eventually produces the elected leader who possesses the power of life and death to soldiers, and the authority to issue threats to other nations, and the decision to make wars and invasions that eventually causes hundreds of thousands of war deaths and millions of war refugees.

It has happened that it's also these 3% to 6% of votes that actually start action by giving the consenting power and eventually provide the authority to go blindly into war without a sufficiently proven cause. But that's not all! It's the same mere few percentages of votes that would eventually lead so many other nations to join the coalition of wars and bloodshed without careful consideration and prior examinations of the cause of wars, thus the blind leading more blind into creating hatred, revenge and bloodshed across the human race, which could last for generations in memory. What's more, it would again be that merely less than 6% of votes that would give the next elected Head of State the power to continue and prolong the already misguided war. As it is so easy to call up dozens of nations into war so quickly without a thoroughly examined cause, this is the true and due process of Democracy that would invariably lead all of us and our children into the deadly future possibility of nuclear confrontations. All it takes is just 3% to 6% of people from the total population to start the sequences of consequence, although those small percentage of people or electorates never wished for war in the first place. But this is the true state of affair behind Democracy, which countless honest and innocent minds, including inexperienced students, are persuaded to believe that it is practically the sole righteous and legitimate system in modern politics, even though every few days there are some democracies in dire dispute, violence or bloodshed...

Time has come for all humans to know that this is not the Bronze Age any more, when some humans had first discovered the metal sword and metal arrow head, whilst most of humans were still wielding only wood or stone weapons. Time has long gone for the Colonial days as well, when some nations had first discovered guns and steam vessels, and could do just about anything they like to other nations. We are deep in the nuclear weapon age now, with conditions and environments vastly different to the historical past and cannot permit easy dominations. Unfortunately some politicians still believe they can do just what they like. What is more, it appears that no world institutions, nor large religious organizations, are interested in adequately preparing the human psyche for the possibility of future nuclear devastation, which could start easily only a few short years from now. Humans of our nuclear age must therefore learn by themselves to stand against wars, and not to be lured to kill and to die for empty and flowery praises, or to join coalitions in wars without serious questions and investigations. As one has to answer history for ones act sooner or later, it would be much easier to accept responsibility for ones conducts earlier than too much and too late. Besides, someone must sound the alarms, and once the alarm is sounded, it had better be loud enough to be heard. What's more, one should be grateful for the early alarms, just as long as the intention is good for all concerned. Even if it hurts! (It hurts more to the war victims). Because entire human race would soon be involved, and because every human being does have the rights to live under a true, or better still, a humanitarian political system as well as humane political leadership. Time is already overdue to take a good look at the redundant past belief of barbaric conquest and compare with true reality of today's educated world. Or else all humans and animals would sooner or later be living in the atmosphere of radioactive pollution...

The following nations are known to have acquired or to be sharing nuclear weapon technologies:- United States, Russia, UK, France, China, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Canada, Israel, South Africa, India, Pakistan and North Korea, while Iran and Syria are said to be acquiring it. Former Soviet nations Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine should at least have known the technology. France is building her 59th nuclear power station, and Japan is catching up in similar magnitudes. There are tens, perhaps hundreds, of thousands of nuclear war heads or materials stocked away already somewhere in the world. When India exploded 5 nuclear tests in May 1998, immediately Pakistan answered with 5 test explosions in that same month. Only then, the world was surprised that Pakistan had been working on nuclear weapon technology. Now, the question is, how many more nations have either quietly acquired the technology or have been quietly working on it? How many nations are secretly sharing or helping others to acquire it? How many nuclear technicians are being paid privately and handsomely for their know-how and experiences? How are you going to stop the spread? Bomb all those nations back to stone age?...

What I am saying is this, any school kid can tell you that words can be cruel and annoying. Words are also weapons and verbal bashing can be menacing and destructive, if the intent is malicious. All arguments are started by words. Hatred and wars are begun with words. All mothers teach their children to watch their mouth and what they say. Civilization begins with respect for words. If you continue to bash people with words, I bet sooner or later you will end up with a bloody nose. Yet, in all mighty glorious ways, you can always proclaim it's all "Freedom of Speech"! But is it really so free? So, if nuclear weapon is the only effective deterrent left for you, would you use it to give somebody that bloody nose? Or just prepare for it in case you may have to use it? (See my page "3 time bombs of the 21st century".)

These things are already becoming the increasing trend and preoccupation of more and more politicians as well as some of the self proclaimed world leaders, who are busily leading the world to grow mad with more food shortage, higher fuel prices, more inflations, more nationalism, more hatred, more turmoil and more terrorists or suicidal fighters. Tortures and paid merciless mercenaries too are becoming fashionable..... It's no wonder that the word "CHANGE" is catching fire!!! (with all my heart I wish that all is well!)... I say this because it is the inevitable fate of our children, when there would not be just fuel pollution, but soon enough, it would be global nuclear pollution!... All these should be thankful to the spread of mass Medias, which are expanding so rapidly. Already huge and influential broadcasting organizations have set up branches in different world cities, including Hong Kong. Now bashing nearby Asian nations, such as Myanmar, can be announced and delivered from Hong Kong on daily, even hourly bases. And no one is asking if that brings some degrees of objections or animosities between Asians. I think and I hope that the alarm is loud enough to be heard!

The truth is that in 1950 Chinese central government had only hoped to modernize Tibet with the rest of China. When that wish was rewarded with violence and rejection, China tuned the hope down with a promise of autonomy, except with the only condition to leave a armed guard behind. The promise has been kept ever since. Such tuning down of hope, preferential treatment for this special province and understanding of Tibetan conditions would also be "bashed" as China's Human Right in Tibet. Then in 1959 the unprovoked, instigated and inflamed arms up-rise would have to be brought back to normalcy again. What else? Wishing Tibet forever stuck in feudal times, while the whole world and nation move forward? Forsake the Tibetans or let a part of ones own body rot away until too late? Now, it has been for years China has been spending billions of tax payers' money without Tibetan pressure or request to repair and recondition dozens of Tibetan old temples and historic buildings. A very costly brand new and extensive railway system, equipped with oxygen supply, was built and put to service on top of the "Roof of the World" only last year. All those money and hard work were used in the hope to make Tibet a modern and prosperous spot in the world. Of course all these are bashed to be such deplorable Chinese human rights in Tibet...

[Note:- On 23rd this month (April 2008) an exhibition called "Tibet of China Past and Present" was opened in Beijing, which will remain open until 25th July 2008. This exhibition displays objects, photos and documents, which shows how in recent years Tibet has evolved from very old feudal dictatorship to modern system of government, in which children enjoy free or subsidized education, and 80% of Tibetan farmers and workers are enjoying scheme of medical care, subsidized mostly by the central government and partially by their local authorities, etc., etc.. Such efforts to improve Tibetan life are also "bashed" by the Medias as China's awful Human Rights in Tibet!... This series of developments in Tibet is not all that difficult for me to comprehend, which is evidenced now by both China and Tibet having achieved some desired success in living standard for their people. But if others still don't understand even now, I wonder how they run their own county? ]

In the days following the violent looting, burning and killing on the 14th March 2008, Dalai Lama was widely supported by international Presses, Medias and politicians in repeated fury. They called those violence, burning and killing as Tibetan "demonstration" and condemned "China's crack down" on them.  Besides, all those violence and Press reports conveniently and miraculously coincided with the start of Olympic torch relay from Athens to Beijing. The fury of support for Dalai Lama caused uncontrollable chaos in London and especially in Paris, as Dalai Lama's followers shoved, pushed and tried to damage the Olympian torch. Suddenly South Africa's Catholic Bishop Desman Tutu lost no time. He threw both his arms and fits in the air and cried at the top of his voice "For Heaven's sake, don't go to China!", probably meaning for the Beijing Opening Ceremony (or was it for the games?). The US Congress spokeswoman miraculous appeared standing right next to Dalai Lama and his followers in India, condemning China's Human Rights in Tibet. The new French President declared that he will not go the Beijing Ceremony. A month later following the out break of violence in Tibet, the Major of Paris made Dalai Lama a Honourary Citizen of Paris, as if padding on Dalai Lama's shoulder, saying (hopefully not the rest of Tibet) "Hurray! Well done! For your violence, looting and killing of your own folks! And for turning Olympic torch relay into chaos and politics. So, let me honour you!". In between a CNN journalist referred to the Chinese people as "Goons" and Thugs" and Chinese products as "Trash"! So, naturally Chinese people asked for apology. CNN replied that "CNN would apologize to anyone who takes it that way". Well, was that an apology or not? The only exception during these insults and bashings activities was the unexpected stubborn refusal to budge from the sitting US President Mr. Bush who would not abstain from his invited presence to be at the Beijing ceremony, despite strong pressures asking him not to go. President Bush was smart this time, because following that there was only voices from the rest of the world for support of China and of Beijing Olympics as well as condemnations for mixing political bashing with Olympics ...

[Note:- Freedom of Speech or Freedom of Press can be a serious weapon to inflict injuries (including self-inflicted injuries), particularly if and when there is a fraud in reporting the truth, or if there are tinges of malice, which would then be repeated and wildly magnified by so many global Medias... Are Chinese people really "goons" and "thugs"? Or behaving like the journalist who labeled them?... By the way, in international trade practice, qualities of commodity are manufactured and shipped strictly in accordance to contract terms, price negotiated and samples previously sent, examined and approved by buyers. Usually samples are marked or tagged to be used as authentic proof of quality as contracted for shipment. Qualities demands vary from country to country and order to order. Goods may be intended for re-exportations too. In short, importers/exporters are not children, nor legal experts, nor politicians, nor charity organizations.... Besides, Chinese hands have produced some of the most delicate and beautiful things in history... Not trash!]

A modern, open, educated and prosperous Tibet may seem to be undesirable or objectionable to the personal rule of the God-King, Dalai Lama, or his friends and his supporters, but in fact it is not necessarily so. I often wonder that if only Dalai Lama, with all his inspired ocean-like wisdom, would dream up ways to combine his own influence with official measures of modernization, helped by 1.3 billions of his mainland countrymen and tax payers, perhaps he could still lead his people into history with treasured recollections of his name and his intelligence. Perhaps that's why he was sent all over the world to learn all about the true nature of politics, governance and religion, as well as his own true characters and karma... I also wonder, has the Dalai Lama, with all his ocean like wisdom, ever asked "would the future of human civilization be written in super-natural belief or in scientific reality? How many past religions and varieties of Gods have already disappeared into the historic background? We have just witnessed the violence and destruction perpetuated by his followers in Tibet. We have also been recently reported that religious organizations had paid billions for sexual crimes committed to hundreds of defenseless children (I wonder if these thing have happened in HK?). The Catholic Pope on his present visit to the US (April 2008) has just talked about Human Rights without mentioning whose human rights he was concerned with, as there are millions of suffering war torn refugees who need a few words of sympathy. This time, this moment in history couldn't be more opportune for great leaders to say and do great things decisively and effectively!

The Dalai Lama should have realized that for so many centuries and over tens of generations, his own parents and ancestors had been citizens of China and peacefully enjoyed those centuries of freedom in Tibetan religion and protection from China. He should also remember that his own title was conferred and financed by the authority in Beijing... How many more wars and invasions Tibet would otherwise have suffered, if she were not part of China or if the forces of China had not been behind her? Perhaps just some large earthquakes would show what 1.3 billions of Chinese compatriots can do for the Tibetan people in times of need. Then again, how much more Tibetan folks must live under that age old feudal system. We have heard so much talks and accusations about Religious Freedom in China, as if the Chinese government is forbidding the Tibetan religion, and not spending billions hoping to recondition it. But elsewhere, is there truly religious freedom today? As I am writing this instant, certain police authorities have just taken custody of over 400 children and infants from their parents because of their parents' polygamist religious practice. Some governments officially do not allow the teaching of Divine Creation in schools. So think, if you take away the only central postulate of a religious, or lawfully force the Almighty to join the unemployed, then how much is religious belief left and where is freedom gone?...

[Note:- Polygamy, in a strict sense, is nature's fundamental provision to ensure that species do not go extinct easily. But it's more than that! In the early primitive times, polygamy had helped to survive human race from dangerous animals, human cannibals, decease endemics, and natural calamities, so that our prehistoric human ancestors did not go extinct. Polygamy then continued to provide the multitudes of human life and the multiplicity of human capacity to develop our societies, nations and civilizations, so that someday humans could migrate to the Solar System, even the greater universe. In the animal world, polygamy is also a way of nature, as it ensures not only the continuation of species and evolution, it also provide foods for all animals, including humans, so that they don't go extinct. Polygamy is treated in some religions as the basic way and Will of nature! And by others as a sin, even a crime!...]

The final question for the Dalai Lama is this. Has he learned anything or has he ever reflected from his half century of self exile, why he became the celebrated, yet pathetic, football for those China Bashers to kick around? Or why did he leave the most peaceful world of religious contemplation to jump into that boiling pot of international political conflicts. He has in fact reduced himself from being that supreme authority of Tibetan tradition to become the object of foreign charity, while his counter part, the Penchant Lama, is doing well in charge of all Tibetan religious affairs in his absence! Therefore, naturally some would ask, is it too late for this Dalai Lama?... I don't think so! Probably it was all meant to be, for him to step out of that untouched remote Roof of World  into Space Age society and Aquarian Age understanding as well as those contemporary politics so that someday he could metamorphose into a soul much larger than his present incarnation! Let's hope so! Because otherwise he is likely to spend the rest of his life in self exile and under the charity of people and other religions, totally foreign to his ancestral up-bringing. But I also wonder, how could his ocean like wisdom not have already pointed out a way for him?

I also can't help wondering is there anything true or serious left in modern political leadership, because unless there is, how do you follow it? Unless there is a justifiable cause and a truly serious one, I mean really really serious one, how do humans go about making up their mind to kill other humans (They wouldn't even do that to animals!), especially in senseless mass scale, and then get themselves killed or injured in the act? Isn't life precious? What is more precious? Ones pet's life, ones own life, ones children's life, millions of human lives, or just some politician's insistence for victory? We have just heard the name Hitler mentioned again. If Hitler had known when to stop and back off, he wouldn't be Hitler. But are there any more new Hitlers somewhere out there? In this age of nuclear bombs, as long as you can pack away a few nuk-bombs, or as long as you can transport them or just smuggle them into place, perhaps your own bedroom is enough and let it go while the town is sleeping, then, does it really matter whether your nation is big or small, strong or weak, rich or poor? And again, what if a few of them, all not too big, get together, then what kind of world could they turn it into? So let's face it, in all this wide wide world, who would bother to speak out? And if and when they did, would it be much too late? For already  hundreds and hundreds of thousands of war sacrificed, it has been already too late.

(Note:-  Religious development of China in recent centuries:- Chinese religions, namely her native Daoism and imported Buddhism, enjoyed their peak just before forces of Genghis Khan disturbed them. So ever since the 12th century these religions could not recover in full. This was also because Confucian philosophy was growing in strength soon after. Confucian philosophy investigates, and also evokes, the depth of human spiritual potentials and those humanistic, socialistic, scholastic, moralistic developments. It was, and still is, much more natural and intelligible than those incomprehensible super-natural beliefs. Because it also influences and directs human relationship and human behaviors very effectively, and so, it enjoyed growing preference by successions of emperors and administrators in China as social and spiritual guidance. Hence, supernatural religions continued to decline in China after the 12th century.

By the time of 17th century Ching Dynasty, religions in China had already become shabby, and was resorting to indulgence in trickeries and immoral behaviors. Emperor Chian-Long of Ching Dynasty was an extremely refined poet and Ru scholar (Confucian scholar). Only days after he ascended the thrown in 1736, he dismissed those palatial Daoist priests who were concocting formula of elixir for his father, the former emperor Yung-Tsen, and sent those priests packing for home. Buddhism also continued to suffer theological decline in China and became an excess of pure skeletal worship for the supernatural without intelligible supports. Chian-Long's ministers tried to persuade the emperor to initiate some means of reform to revive the essence of religions. Emperor Chian-Long replied the ministers that those workers of superstitions were just vagrants and drifters in the street (presumably only in the former Peking streets), and that keeping them was like keeping street entertainers for amusements of the folks only. After some thoughts, Chian-Long wrote the following classical poem:-

This poem says that " these two religions, meaning Daoism and Buddhism, have been reduced to such a miserable state, how could they ever rise up again? Why bother mending them or toiling with such past indulgence and beliefs? Just leave them to the artists and poets as materials to enhance imaginations". ... Since those days, no Chinese government would go any length to support religions (perhaps until recently), but generally speaking, Chinese people only really put their hearts and feelings in when they go to worship their ancestors. So, in a way, emperor Chian-Long was right. Superstition could not and did not recover its former glory and control. But humans do need some proper spiritual guidance, or those deep spiritual mental aspirations, especially in this dangerous age of nuclear weapons. I wonder could the principles or philosophy of humanitarianism, such as parts of teaching of some revived, but modernized, Confucian humanitarian principles could help to do the job? Confucian teaching had generated for Chinese civilization control, respect, humanity, compassion, contentment, gratification, family love and more, and for 2500 years also imparted peace, culture and mutual respect to all neigbouring nations. Perhaps it could yet be useful to enhance human relationship in this nuclear age.

Let me quickly add a few words below for explanation:- .

There are two kinds of physics that explains the mechanics of motivation for all events and manifestations in nature. These are Meta-physics and Pure Physics or just Physics. The Metaphysics is highly abstract and more difficult to appreciate. It is sometime called "Higher Vehicle" or "Upper Vehicle" of learning, while, Physics belongs to "Lower Vehicle" of learning. It is the Higher Vehicle that motivate the lower one. In my own view, these two main power of motivation can actually be further split into 4 more distinctive energies or forces. i.e. 1) Will energy, 2) Purpose energy, 3) Mental energy and 4) Physical energy. Now let's examine the first 2 energies, which are more complicated:-

1) The Will energy:-  This is the root of all actions and motivations. Without the Will or want, nothing will begin. This includes the Instinct of Survival or the Will of Survival, which stems from yet the deepest and the remotest Motivation of Nature, or Will of Nature, which demands the inevitability of life, death, suffering, learning and drives evolution of all things and life. The origin of Will is rooted deeply in the hidden instinct or nature of beings. To search and understand True Motivation or Will within ones own instinctive nature often requires both great inner vision and great objectivity. They are so deep and unfathomable that only wholly entrenched meditation and innermost reflection in total peace can reach and bring them to surface, because to identify with the inner motivation is to understand ones own existence and ones place in nature. But unlike the huge majority of the mundane and unconcerned masses, only specially great minds would inquire, and such profound and inquisitive minds are very few. Also unlike the mundane, these great souls are invariably gifted with extra sensitivities to reverberate, to comprehend and to foresee those highly elevated phenomena and manifestation such as Cause and Effect. Too often they cannot find peace until their concerns are brought to rest. When they do, they are suddenly enlightened. Then a state of perfect peace, Nirvana, crystallizes. These great minds can bring forth great teaching and philosophy to humanity, which echo down many generations and through ages...

2) The Purpose energy:- The Will energy leads to a purpose or reason, otherwise it would be directionless and meaningless. However, meaning and purpose are already more comprehensible, but there is a huge variety ranging from extreme deep or meaningful to very shallow or less meaningful, for instance "Love" is a deep one. The more meaningful ones are very spiritual or very philosophical, and are still extremely difficult to grasp, especially for the young and the mundane  However, there are two ways to import them, one is through rational intimation or philosophical teaching, and the other is through input of  imaginative suggestion or implantation of  belief. This is because higher meaning or purpose lies deep in human spirits, and hence "spiritual", which can best be led or taught to echo or perceive philosophically, or to be simply believed and followed religiously. Thus both Sakyamuni, the Buddha, and Confucius are hailed as great teachers. Spiritual things are also often regarded as teachings in 2 levels, the "Higher Vehicle" and the "Lower Vehicle". The higher one is "Super" but still "Natural", whilst the lower one is purely "Supernatural". Supernature is entirely beyond or out of "Nature". Consequently, the variety ranges from comprehensible or digestible to incomprehensible, or from innerly receptive, which requires greater sensitivity but is more permanent, to inertly imposed, which is more mundane but temporal. That's why a great variety of supernatural beliefs did not survive the test of time.

Simply said, due to the extreme depth of motivation, stemming from unconscious human instinct and from nature as well as the confusing varieties of functions in human life, the human psyche needs to be led, taught or enlightened to understand his own action, e.g. why and how the human should live and behave in harmony with each other. Otherwise, he will be like animals, living in constant fear, mutual aggressions or pure barbaric brutality. This fact has been very important, particularly during the first millenniums after the discovery of bronze weapon and now the nuclear weapons. However, now this usefulness is slipping away rapidly. Because in this so called Aquarian Age, which has begun in civilization a couple of centuries ago, now everything we do, be it eating, thinking, walking or sleeping, all has to do with modern science and nature. Evolution has brought human awareness to a level of thinking rather than believing.  Sooner or later those things belonging to purely Supernature, which is still unreachable and uncommunicative with science and logics, are in danger of coming to a stand still. As it confuses modern education, the spirit, the soul or human psyche is beginning to loose grip from its reliable base or safe control, and becoming rootless, restless and reckless, even ruthless.

Some spiritual teachings in the "Higher Vehicle" are also being taken over by modern scientific knowledge. Although in this Upper Vehicle, some are closer to nature and more comprehensible than others. For instance, the Tibetan Buddhism, which has a special mode of  learning through "Debates", may yet retain a reasonable good health. What remains for the world to properly acquaint is the super but natural philosophy of Confucius teaching, which can touch, invoke and explain both instinctive Will and Purpose, while linking them to the functions of greater nature. It has been a powerful vehicle of leaning that had nourished those humane, yet intellectual, social spirits in China for 2500 years. Although modernization is strongly needed, it remains totally logical, philosophical, appreciable and completely unrelated to supernature. Yet, it has been equally as effective as any religion. Countless accounts of literatures and discussions have been written by scholars in appreciation and in echo of its philosophy through out those millenniums. Actually it not only streamlines the human psyche at the spiritual level, but also broadens and deepens rational intellectual capacities at the mundane level...

O.K. Now what about the two remaining energies? Well, these are easy and need little explanations. 3) Mental energies:- This is the energy of mental planning and organization. All political ideologies and systems are structured from it. This is therefore the energy of "How", unlike the previous one, which is "Why". To teach the energy of "Why" requires a enlightened sage, and to deploy its energy needs a motivated leader, but to learn how to do it, anybody can do it! That's why there is a huge difference in the values between a learned or motivated leader with sufficient tenacity and an unmotivated, random or merely popular leader. That's why Buddha had to sit under the Bodhi tree for many years before he could acquire his enlightenment (legend has described that Buddha had concentrated so deep in meditation he didn't even notice birds were building nest on his head), and Confucius was able to impart self control, compassion, contentment, gratitude, true democratic ideals, social respect and family love, etc., for 2500 years and still going strong, and yet it requires no force, lure, dramatization or coercion to learn, all originating from the motto of ones own inner being...

4) The Physical energy:- This energy merely serves to materialize the other 3 previous energies... Meanwhile, all these energies belong to a natural cycle, i.e., The Will induces Purpose, and Purpose devices Mental plans, then all is executed by Physical energy... At the same time, each succeeding energy serves the preceding cause, together they ensure the unity or wholeness of a metaphysical or physical existence in nature... These are the four energies that drive social motivation and human conscience. These are therefore the energies that affect social evolution, and during this nuclear Aquarian Age might yet affect the survival of human civilization, a civilization that has taken human ancestors so long to develop and mature, and to become humane and safe. Unless they are anatomically and analytically clear, the human spirit may be confused... Our human society is rapidly approaching a point when the individual is being led, lured, incited and excited, thus encouraged to depart from his conscience and violate his own basic instinct under the excuse and dramatization of "Freedom". At the same time, because of the nuclear technology and stackable explosives, any single nation, big or small, in coalition with others is now allowed or will be able to plunge entire mankind into chained fermentation and chaos with dangerous consequences never yet known or imagined in history.

[Note:- Readers are invited to read the page "A word about Aquarian Age", which is quite relevant to information contained here]

A word bout worship:- [The following short account is borrowed from page " 14) Cosmic influence on evolution and structure of DNA... " in the main Theory of Regenerating-Universe.]

In nature there is an endless complexity of forces in action, all interacting and affecting each other. But at the base of all that complexity there is the governing fact that each action creates a reaction (Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion, or the Chinese Principle of Yin and Yang). This means that forces in nature are creating multiples of dynamic symmetries and in varying states of change, or in varying multiples of actions and reactions. This is also the very fundamental phenomenon of universal Cause and Effect in evolution. In modern Computer algorithm, the Central Processing Unit (CPU) is designed with transistor or digital electronic circuits to recognize and detect the numbers of High and/or Low voltages, or the 1s and/or 0s, or True and/or False, to be interpreted by Boolean Algebra (or Chinese Abacus), from which the CPU and Transistor Gates will test the Tri-States (And, Or and Not) of the circuits and  then switch on or off other parts of the electronic logical circuitry and memory storage. These Highs and/or Lows, or "0"s and/or "1"s, or True and/or False, are in fact the exact equivalent dynamic force of symmetries in nature, i.e. Actions and/or Reactions, or Positive and/or Negative, or Ying and/or Yang, as postulated in the present Regenerating Universe Theory [Please read page #6) Where and how are cosmic waves (electromagnetic) created?.]. In actual fact, both the dynamic Tri-State symmetries within the tiny computer electronic logical circuit and the dynamic Tri-State of symmetries in the great Nature are made of the same electromagnetic wave energies. Meanwhile, because of the property of mutual interference of the electromagnetic waves, these waves blend into each other and are able to reach into every corner of the universe, thus unifying the entire universe in dynamic evolution. Micro electromagnetic waves are also present and driving the activities in every human or animal body and brain in continuous evolution. Thus the animal brains, computers and nature's functions and evolutions are all driven and powered by electromagnetic waves...

Computer algorithm, CPU, Transistor Gates, Boolean Algebra and all other electronic logical circuits are invented and in used since just about a century ago. In fact, only after the 1960s the computer had become fast and large enough to be really efficient. But in recent time, all kinds of automations, engineering devices, artificial intelligence, space explorations and huge amount of complex data and information are being rapidly processed and controlled by the computer…. Now, supposing we stop and think for a while. If the humans can use the 1s and/or 0s of electronic circuits, or the phenomena of dynamic symmetry to produce machines with artificial intelligence in a few short decades, and yet humans and animals are just products of nature’s evolution. How long do you think Nature or Mother Nature has been testing and experimenting with nature’s equivalent dynamic symmetries? And what could have been the products resulting from her experiments in that endless time and space of the cosmic experience and evolution?

These days, more and more computer soft-wares are being used to replace intelligence in every field of knowledge, while larger and better memory chips are being manufactured to accommodate huge amount of information and complexity. In short, if machines can generate by themselves complex intelligence after only some decades of developments, then nature, too, can generate its own intricate structures, laws and intelligence over those infinite eons of developments... In other words, if the human or animal brains, computers and the functions and structures of universe are all energized and motivated by electromagnetic waves, and if the living brains and computers can all become intelligent, then why not the universe too! After all, everything that we know or possess, including ourselves, are none but products of nature. It’s no wonder that there are so many wonders in nature, which are so infinitely complex! It's no wonder that we are at lost to understand them all... In fact, Nature’s own experiments have developed such depth, intelligence and capacity, so mysterious, so purposeful and spiritual too, that we can only imagine and describe nature as Almighty or Divine!  If there is a Supreme Almighty Being, then all that limitless energy, structure, purpose and will power must be the Almighty Nature or Divine Nature! That all encompassing giver of life, of evolution and of compassionate emotions and intelligence must be the Almighty Nature too! So there is no need to down grade that true Almighty, the Infinite and Divine Capacity with the image of an immature, imperfect, or not yet fully evolved human image that is plagued with diseases and untamed desires to lie, to steal, to hurt and to kill.... Yet we all know that humans have invented so many kinds of gods or super divine beings throughout history, while in fact the worship of Nature alone is enough. We also are clever enough to know that the worship of wrong gods or degrading the true Infinite Capacity with lesser and corrupt images should be an offence and an act of blasphemy against the True One!.

What's more, Actions and Reactions, or "Cause, And/Or, Consequence", or "Cause, And/Or, Effect", or Rewards and Punishments are merely acts of Nature or laws of science, in fact, they demonstrate that ours is a regenerating universe! You see! Time is most essential! When evolution has enough time, even cats and dogs will become civilized and advanced creatures someday, even beasts like tigers and lions can become vegetarians! Given enough time, space, mass, energy and evolution, or nature's Will to create and improve, then anything mentally and spiritually imaginable, can become true! And the reality of all, including Physical force, Mental energy, Spiritual purposes and the Will Power, are nothing but the energies of the great living universal existence! So, if you really need to worship, then worship Nature, or the Universe, which is infinitely greater and mightier, not any single galaxy, nor any star!
